The wet laboratory of the Institute of Prehistoric Archaeology and Medieval and Modern Archaeology
The wet laboratory of the Institute of Prehistoric Archaeology and Medieval and Modern Archaeology was set up in 2014 by Professor François Bertemes for teaching purposes and for the preparation of excavation finds from the Institute, restoration and conservation (ceramics and metal). Practical laboratory courses on trace and residue analyses are offered here, which, in addition to specialist knowledge, general rules for work and order in the laboratory, will teach basic technical skills and routines in handling various laboratory equipment.
The laboratory is equipped with areas for taking samples and cleaning artefacts as well as for storing chemicals and for preparing excavation findings, restoration and conservation. The equipment includes:

- Reference collections for rubbing stones and axes
